I think Angel’s recommendation of moving around more may be a possible solution. When foiling, for example, I am stationary for most of that part of the process. I am going to double up on the mats (one on top of the other) this time around and see if it helps any.
Actually I recommend MOVING...standing when necessary and sitting when possible. I don't understand WHY you stand when foiling. THAT'S the one activity just MADE for sitting. A lot of people do it while sitting and watching TV or listening to music. Without distraction, foiling is so BORING it can drive you insane.
Standing on a surface that's too soft can do more harm than good. it's like sleeping on a mattress that 's too soft. Your feet an legs will be constantly adjusting to the "give" in the material and that's going to lead to sore muscles and feet. I'm 5'9" and all my worktables were built very high to accommodate me. The ONE that I used most was the sitting-height bench built to work with a computer chair...with arms. I don't see you finding any physical aid to help with unrelenting us of your feet. Look at changing your work habits or just decide to live with the pain.
