As others have stated here, the "Cutter's Mate" is the solution for people who have problems with hand cutting. Arthritis, Muscle insufficiency, Carpal Tunnel syndrome and anything affecting dexterity and strength is GREATLY aided by the CM. I got one years ago when I was healing from a broken wrist (which really takes the better part of a year to fully heal). Loved it so much that it remained my primary cutter. One Person I know used it following a mastectomy. It let her continue in a hobby she loved.

I had them all..every version, shape, size and brand of cutters...and used them selectively. The CM was always the thing I reached for first. I had the original version which was the shortest arm and never felt the need to get a larger size.

If you get a chance to try one, it's definitely worth the time to seek out a studio or individual who has it available.
