Thank you for that very insightful reply. I do understand that there are a lot of drawbacks to a ring saw and yes the one I am getting is a Taurus 3. One of my biggest problems with cutting glass is not that I can't or haven't learned (I am learning daily), arthritis is a key factor in my getting a ring saw. Holding a scoring tool, even the pistol grip, is no easy task, so I am hoping that holding glass flat on a surface while using a ring saw will work out a bit better for me. I will keep in mind all that you have said, I want you to know it is muchly appreciated.
