What kinda meetings you go to anyway that people are knitting and foiling glass?????
LOL! Any casual meetings.
I take bags of nuggets to a once a year professional keep up the credentials meeting. Big hall, boring speeches. Last time the gal to my left was working on a spreadsheet and the guy on my right was reading a newspaper. We have to show up and sit there to get credit, we don't have to listen.
Poetry group meets once a month, people take turns reading their recent poems. Some of the women bring their knitting or needlepoint, I bring suncatchers to foil. Do have to be careful not to clink the glass much, it can disturb people at the meeting. Knitting is always quiet, glass not always.
Visiting relatives for a week, I know there will be times when nothing's going on. I cut lots of small-piece stuff ahead of time, bring it to foil while sitting around. Do some of it on airplanes, sometimes.
A friend thinks it's a girl thing, that women (but maybe not men) like to have something in their hands to putter with instead of just sitting.
