I've never had that happen, Tony. If you grind it correctly the first time, you don't have to go back and grind again while foiling. (Poke, poke!)

I don't automatically "grind the first time"...grinding for me is only an occasional corrective during the fitting stage, during foiling, not a complete pre-foiling ritual.(he parries, he counters)
Most pieces have been CUT right and don't need grinding, but I concede that sometimes I've then used a grinder to take off sharps or correct the OCCASIONAL overcut or weird shape (he feints , inviting a lunge)
So when I grind, I'm NOT "going back and grinding again".
