Well that's what it feels like when I log in here and see no activity for months. This is WAY past distressing. What have we come to? When an excellent forum that's attached to real ARTISTS...an information base and a unique supply business just SITS here unused, it's a tragedy for the Stained Glass Forum Community. All of us who love the Glass Arts lose. This is not the only place that's under-used these days.
Yes, Stained Glass is an expensive hobby and an even more critical way to make a profit professionally. The "economy" will force people to give it up...we all know that. However, Forums are a way to discuss something you love even when your access to it shrinks. They are also a social base.
The way to express appreciation for all the work and expense involved in providing an interactive Forum is simply to USE it....exercise your loyalty and POST. Posting begets posting.
Damn...maybe we need another Forum WAR! That generated more activity for a couple of years than anything else. Think about it. War and contention is purely social. Nobody learned anything but it kept us REALLY busy...provided a lot of good writing and Fun.
Jeffrey...I can't seem to get e-mail though to you. Contact...please.
