Everything I have heard over the years about Odyssey forms has been positive, with the possible exception of getting the lamp off the mold if you've used the tacky wax. (The key, I understand, is to warm it up so the wax softens).
For me, the drawback of Odyssey is #1 the cost and #2 the fact that the design is permanently molded into the form; thus, you must buy a new expensive mold to make a different design lamp.
I have made lamps on the Worden sectional forms, and while it is doable, joining the sections can be challenging. I was very happy when they came out with the one-piece blank forms and their new pattern system. The pattern strips protect the foam mold from solder damage, so it can be re-used (for extra insurance, you can cover the entire mold with strips of masking tape before applying the pattern strips). I find it's easy to attach the pattern strips with regular dressmaker's pins; they push in flat so the glass pieces sit properly on the form, are easily removable when you want to change patterns, and don't damage the form like glue or tape might. For me, the big bonus is you can choose from several patterns for each shape, without having to invest in a new mold each time, and you can also buy blank patterns when you're ready to design your own lamps. The styrofoam is fairly thick, and a lot sturdier than you might think, especially the full-form molds. My experience with Worden has been good.
